With the lowering of holy flag from dwajasthambam, the 10-day annual festival of Sri Gowmariamman Temple at Veerapandi came to an end here on Tuesday.

On the last day, special aradhanas and pujas were performed to the main deity.

Lakhs of devotees from Theni and neighbouring districts such as Madurai, Dindigul and Virudhunagar visited the temple and witnessed the holy car procession.
