Exnora International on Wednesday announced that it will launch in Madurai ‘Must Quit O’, an initiative to cope with the mosquito menace.

The initiative was launched in Chennai recently and innovative rallies and demonstrations were launched involving school students.

“In Madurai also students will play a prominent role in the entire campaign. We are planning to visit schools on December 25 and 26, and to organise awareness programmes for them”, said M. B. Nirmal, founder of Exnora in a press meet held in the city on Wednesday.

As a part of the programme, ‘Mos Quiz’ will be conducted in schools where questions on eradication of mosquito menace will be asked, he added.

“The government should focus on the cause end of mosquito menace and not the consequence end.

By introducing gutter guards to cover open sewage, preventing water stagnation and fixing the cover of overhead tanks, breeding of mosquitoes will be controlled and will put an end to spread of mosquito related diseases”, he concluded.
