Amrita Centre for Cyber Security of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is conducting ‘India Capture the Flag (InCTF)', an ethical hacking contest. It is to promote awareness about cyber security among students and hive them hands on experience in secure coding practices.

According to a release, it is a war game designed to mimic the real world security challenges. The contest is open to students across India. They can participate from their respective institutions without travelling to the venue.

Those interested should form a team of minimum of three members and maximum of five and register the team on www.inctf.in by November 30. There is no registration fee.

Teams have to clear two rounds before entering the final round of the contest. The first round consists of questions on security concepts and in the second round the teams are tested on Web-based exploitation, binary exploitation, cryptography, forensics, and reversing.
