ERODE: The Indian Public School, the only recognised Central Board of Secondary Education institution, has done well in Standard X examinations.

A release from the school says all the 54 students have cleared the examination in first class. R.S. Abishek and R. Sandhya topped the school with 473 out of 500, followed by Elakkya who scored 471. And, of the 54, 34 students secured over 80 per cent.

The release further says 20 students will get CBSEs A1 merit certificate for their good performance in English, and similarly six in Tamil, 18 in Mathematics, 22 in science and 17 in social studies.

This is the first batch from the school to have appeared for the Standard X examinations.
