The Coimbatore branch of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Institute, has proposed to conduct six-week entrepreneurship skill development programme for unemployed youth in Pudukottai district to train them on techniques to start their own enterprises.

According to a communication received from J.Rajendran, Assistant Director of MSME Development Institute, Coimbatore, the programme included three weeks of practical training such as skill development in tailoring business .

The training will be given at Vinba Tailoring Institute at Keeranur in Pudukottai district and the minimum qualification is VIII Standard pass and the age limit is 18 to 35 years (45 years for SC/ST/women and physically handicapped candidates), he pointed out.

He said that candidates would be selected at the TMSSS building, Railway Station Road, Keeranur, at 10.30 a.m. on November 24.

The fee is Rs.200 and the training is expected to commence from November 25.

Interested persons are requested to enrol their names with Vinba Tailoring Institute, Kalla Street, Puliyur Road (West), Keeranur or with the Assistant Director of MSME (Mobile: 9443863718).
