KRISHNAGIRI: Ensure that various government welfare schemes reached the beneficiaries, the District Monitoring Officer, C. Muthukumarasamy, told a review meeting held at the Collectorate here on Tuesday.

The main purpose of the review meeting of monitoring officers was to speed up the development schemes in the district through various departments.

“I will inspect the various development schemes in the district for about two days,” he said.

A detailed report will be submitted to the State Government after a field visit, Mr. Muthukumarasamy added.

He asked officers to monitor the schemes with utmost sincerity.

The State Government has banned the allotment of 2-acre land scheme in and around Hosur as the industrial town adjoining Bangalore, Mr. Muthukumarasamy said.

S. Nagarajan, District Revenue Officer, said that about 180 acres has been allotted for Information Technology Park at Hosur. “We will acquire more land in the area according to Elcot requirement, he added.
