Chennai: The Commissionerate of Employment and Training has made elaborate arrangements to enable 5.81 lakh students who have passed Plus Two exams to register themselves in employment exchanges across the State.

Apart from regular employment exchanges, the Commissionerate would set up 12 centres in Chennai revenue division, 20 in Madurai division, 26 in Tiruchi and 21 in Coimbatore division for the benefit of students who would receive their mark-sheets on May 26.

The details about the centres would be announced by Collectors through media. Students could register their Plus Two qualification and additional qualifications with the nearest centre, said A.S. Jeevarathinam, Employment Commissioner.

They should bring ration cards, original and photo copy, and the Plus Two marksheet.

If students had already registered their SSLC qualification, they should bring their employment ID card to register their Plus Two qualification.

The Collectors have been asked to provide security and drinking water facilities at the centres which would function from 9 am to 6 pm.
