CHENNAI: The Editor (in-charge) of ‘Kungumam' Tamil magazine, P. Murugan (40), was allegedly stabbed by two persons near his house at Ramavaram here on Friday.

According to police sources, Mr. Murugan was on his way to work at 8.40 a.m. when the two suspects, who came on a motorcycle, intercepted him on the pretext of clarifying an address.

As he was trying to explain, the suspects stabbed him and escaped.

He was admitted to a private hospital where his condition was said to be stable.
