Dresses distributed

The district administration on Thursday distributed new dressed to the 324 families affected by the November 7 violence unleashed by caste Hindus in Natham, Anna Nagar, Kondampatti colonies in Naikkankottai village. The dresses were distributed by District Revenue Officer P. Ramar in the presence of C.K. Veerannan, Project Officer, District Rural Development Agency.

As many as 35 families in Anna Nagar, 190 in Natham, 99 in Kondampatti were given dress materials which include woollen sweaters, woollen cap, dhoti, and sari.

P. Subramani, Revenue Divisional Officer, V. Mani, Tahsildar were present, says a release.
