The Tiruchi district Drama Artistes' Association (Naadaga Nadigargal Sangam) will conduct its first drama festival for six days from November 15 to 20 at Rasika Ranjana Sabha hall in the city.

According to M.S.Mohamed Masthan, general secretary of the sangam, two Tamil dramas will be staged every day at 6.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. from November 15 to 19.

The dramas to be staged are: ‘Uyirodu Uravadu' directed by T. Sambanda Pandian and ‘Kaadal Mudichi' directed S. S. Haja Mohideen on November 15; ‘Oru aanavam azhindadu' directed by M. Arumainathan and ‘Devan Kattalai' by S. M. Lourduraj on November 16.

‘Mouna Yutham' by B. Rajendran and ‘Madippu kodunga' by Rama Tirupathi would be staged on November 17.

‘Vaanam thottu vidum thooram than' by Tiruchi RR and ‘Amma appa' by K. Mahendran is to be staged on November 18 while ‘Puratchi Vendan Poolithevan' by M. S. Raja and ‘Oruthuli Kanneer' by N. R. Sathuraja will be staged on November 19.

Valedictory function

The valedictory and prize distribution function will be held on November 20.

The admission is free, Mr. Masthan said.
