Draft electoral roll would be published on Monday to enable public to update details such as include, amend and delete any particulars.
Petitions filled-in prescribed forms (Form 6, 8A, 7 and 8) would be received from all eligible persons until November 9.
Form 6 shall be used for inclusion for the first time, Form 7 for deletion of names, for correction of entries applicants shall use Form 8 and Form 8A for shifting of residence within the same Assembly constituency.
According to a press release, public can submit petitions with the designated officials from Monday onwards.
Persons attaining 18-years of age (born on or before 31.12.1992) shall also file their names for inclusion in the voter list. The possession of EPIC (elector's photo identity card) is not sufficient to cast vote. The voter's name should figure in the voter list.
The officials have also planned to conduct special camps on October 30 and November 7 for receiving petitions for inclusion, deletion and any amendments.
The final list is expected to be released on January 5, 2011.
