DMK continues black shirt protest against government

Wearing black shirts, DMK cadre distributed pamphlets against the alleged "misrule" of AIADMK in the State. S.N.M.Ubayathullah, former minister, distributed pamphlets at old bus stand . Mehta, town treasurer of the party, and municipal councillors of DMK joined the former minister in distributing the pamphlets. The pamphlets condemned the unscheduled power cut, rise in the price of essential commodities , deteriorating law and order in the State, and alleged undemocratic and anti-press attitude of the government.

"On Saturday, the cadres distributed pamphlets at various places in the district. Today (Sunday) they distributed pamphlets in Thanjavur town, Mr.Palani Manickam said.
