An Industry-Institution partnership programme was conducted at Dhirajlal Gandhi College of Technology here recently. V. Vishwanathan, Senior Human Resource, Wipro Technologies, Chennai, was the chief guest. He said that students have to face tough competition because of less demand and increase in number of engineering graduates every year. He also discussed the important skills required for an engineering student and called for students to possess excellent academic records and have strong fundamental knowledge in their respective core subjects to get good placements. He also added that an engineering student should have problem-solving capabilities, passion and positive attitude. Dhirajlal. A. Gandhi, Chairman of the college, delivered the presidential address while Archana Manojkumar, Secretary of the college offered felicitations. Dr. V. Murali Baskaran, Principal of the college introduced the chief guest.
