CHENNAI: Police personnel picked up two persons for questioning after they allegedly attempted to trespass on the high security Raj Bhavan campus on Monday.

The armed guards on the campus handed over the duo to the Guindy police.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Adyar) S.N. Seshasayee said the police were verifying the antecedents of the intruders.

He said the two persons belonged to Orissa and that they were construction workers.

They tried to sneak into the campus from its rear side.
