ERODE: The district administration has told members of denotified communities to register themselves as members of the welfare board established for them by the State Government. The board extends a number of welfare measures, including accident relief, medical benefits, educational assistance and various other programmes to improve the socio-economic condition of its members.

Those who are aged between 18 and 60 years are eligible.

Application forms can be obtained from the District Backward Class and Minorities Welfare office free of cost, a press release issued by the administration here said.
