‘He takes interest in watching news and current affairs’

COIMBATORE: U.Avyut has a photographic memory. He just has to see an image once; he can recall it even after months. He can already recognise 50 politicians, logos of popular brands and countless film stars. Avyut will turn three this October 18.

It takes him just seconds to name the U.S. Presidential candidate, Barrack Obama, former President of Pakistan, Pervez Musharaff, and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.G.Ramachandran. And, these are just a few of the celebrities Avyut can recognise.

‘He is attentive and is extremely curious about things,’ says his mother Anuradha Umesh. ‘He asks a lot of questions too,’ she adds.

A pre-KG student at Wonder Kids Play School in R.S.Puram, Avyut is delightfully observant.

He has also modelled for a couple of textile outlet commercials and starred in a short film. Avyut unlike other kids his age does not like watching cartoon channels. He instead takes interest in watching news and current affairs programmes, says his father K.Umesh Babu.

With a memory like his, Avyut may be good at chess, he adds.

His parents plan to train him in chess as soon as he is old enough to learn it.
