As many as 124 directly appointed Sub-Inspectors of 81{+s}{+t}batch of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on completion of basic training for 48 weeks at the Central Training College II of CRPF passed out on Wednesday.

The passing out parade was held in the presence of D.K. Pathak, Additional Director-General of Police (Training), CRPF who took the salute and reviewed the parade and T.Sekar, IG and Principal of CTC II.

The training that started on February 15, included drill, physical training, weapons handling, field craft and tactics CRPF Act and Rules, Law, Manuals, human rights and Constitution. They are equipped to fight the menace of insurgency, militancy and naxalism, they all have undergone four weeks of intensive jungle warfare exercise.

Paolen Chongloi of Nagaland bagged the all round best training award, Gordhan Singh of Rajasthan bagged the best indoor cadet, Ramesh K.R. Yadav of Uttar Pradesh bagged the best outdoor cadet award. Sanjay Tripathi of Madhya Pradesh bagged the award for endurance test, Brijesh Kumar Singh of Uttar Pradesh bagged the best marksman award while P.P. Pramesh of Kerala bagged the best in drill.
