T.K. Rangarajan, Rajya Sabha MP and Central committee member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has ruled out the possibility of Left parties forming a pre-election third front at the national level.

Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, he stressed on the Left parties’ commitment on forming a non-BJP, non-Congress government at the Centre after the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

On the parties’ strategy in the State, he said Chief Minister Jayalalithaa stood with the CPI (M) in opposing several anti-people measures of the UPA government. – Staff Reporter
