TIRUCHI: Admitting that Left parties suffered a setback in the recent elections, Communist Party of India (CPI) State secretary D.Pandian said here on Wednesday that the party’s State Council would analyse the election aspects during its four-day meeting at Coimbatore from June 6.

The party’s national council meeting will be convened in New Delhi from July 3 to 6 to discuss its poll performance at the all-India level and related issues, he told reporters here on Wednesday. — Special Correspondent
