The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of the Jayaram College of Engineering and Technology conducted a two day national conference on ‘emerging trends in science and technology'. Subramaniam, Chairman, and Nirmala Subramaniam, founder of NCET, inaugurated the conference. N. Kannan, principal, presided over the inaugural. S. Muttan, Director for Medical Electronics, Anna University, Chennai, was the chief guest and he delivered the inaugural address. He explained the usage of nano robotics to destroy AIDS, cancer viruses by the method of injecting electron beam into human brain, the practical experiments for electron movement from transmitter to receiver with technical audio-video slides. G. Lakshmi Narayanan, Assistant Professor of NIT-T, delivered the valedictory address.
