A computer was reportedly stolen from the Mittur Government Higher Secondary School. According to Kurusilapet police, Jayaprakasam, the headmaster of the school, lodged a complaint at the police station on Wednesday that a computer kept in the library room has been stolen. In the complaint, he said the computer was kept in the room for over a month and the room was sealed. On Wednesday, they found the lock on the door broken and the computer stolen along with a table. The incident came to light after a student had found the room open.
