Competitions on road safety held

Over 400 students from 91 schools in the district participated in the Road Safety Week competitions held here on Sunday.

The students showcased their talents in elocution, painting, essay and road safety awareness slogan writing competitions, organised by the Regional Transport Office at Subbaiah Vidhyalayam Girls’ Higher Secondary School here. Regional Transport Commissioner V. Balan handed over the prizes to the winners in the valediction held in the evening.
