A two-day international colloquium has emphasised the need for securing water and sanitation for all.
Organised by the Centre of Excellence for Change and the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras on Sunday and Monday, the colloquium underscored the need for adoption of villages to promote water conservation and sanitation. Participants affirmed their commitment to lead campaigns to achieve the goal.
The resolutions were part of the Chennai Declaration adopted at the colloquium, which focussed on youth participation in matters concerning water, environment and sanitation. — Special Correspondent
