Over thirty members of Tamil Nadu Government College Teachers’ Association (TNGCTA) staged demonstration in front of the Government Arts College for Men in Krishnagiri on Friday against the anti-teacher attitude of the director of Collegiate Education .

The TNGCTA demanded the government to take action against the director of Collegiate Education T. Senthamizh Selvi based on the raid conducted by the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption recently at the directorate.Addressing the agitation, E. Ravi, Salem Zonal secretary of the TNGCTA alleged that the Director of Collegiate Education was showing partiality among teachers in deputation to the newly started colleges.The appointment of guest lecturers was getting delayed because of the delay on the part of the Directorate to submit the necessary data to the Government, Mr. Ravi alleged.
