District Collector V. Sampath has issued a stern warning to the share auto operators. In a statement, he said the share auto operators should adhere to traffic rules and that their permits would be cancelled if they carried passengers in excess than the prescribed number. He said it had come to his notice that the share autos of all types, including Ape and Arjun 500, were frequently violating traffic rules. Therefore, on the direction of the Transport Commissioner, it had been decided to streamline the operation of the share autos.
