Collector Ajay Yadav has asked the officials of various departments to implement the schemes allotted for Adi Dravidars and tribals and expedite the implementation of the schemes for Adi Dravidars and tribals, which have already been taken up by them.

He was presiding over a meeting organised at the Collectorate here on Saturday to review the implementation of the schemes for Adi Dravidars and tribals by various departments

Mr. Yadav told the officials to ensure that benefits of the schemes reached the targeted beneficiaries. He reviewed the progress of the distribution of educational aids and other concessions to students, the disbursement of subsidy to tribal farmers given through the Departments of Agriculture and Horticulture, the medical benefits granted through the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, especially to the tribal hill residents, grant of loans including crop loans, jewel loans, medium-term and long-term loans, and the distribution of milch animals through the Department of Animal Husbandry.
