‘iART: Colours of my Imagination', a painting competition for children, was organised by ISteel at Perks Matriculation Higher Secondary School here on Sunday.

Amitha Shree, S.B.O.A. Matriculation Higher Secondary School ( 8-10 years), K.J. Susmith ( 11-13 years ) from S.B.O.A. Matriculation School and D. Sudhagar, (14 -15 years) from Venkatalakshmi Matriculation Higher Secondary School emerged winners.

Artist V. Rajagopal, national award winner, was the judge for the competition. The competition was held at six centres in Tamil Nadu and the winners from each category were selected to participate in a State-level art competition and a two-day workshop to be conducted by artist Asma Menon, the organisers said.

The first, second and third winners in each category would be awarded Rs. 25,000, Rs.15,000 and Rs.10,000 respectively.

According to the organisers, the paintings of the three finalists will be incorporated into Isteel's communication materials such as bill boards, brochures, diaries and calendars. Based on the brand theme ‘Forever', ISteel will adopt the works of the winners into their communication materials.

The workshop would be conducted on November 19 and 20 and the final contest would be held at Dakshin Chithra, Chennai, on November 20.
