Jayaraj Annapackiam College for Women (Autonomous), Periyakulam, has secured a CGPA score of 3.36 in the third cycle of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) re-accreditation conducted in March.

This was announced by the Standing Committee constituted by the Executive Committee of the NAAC in its 66th meeting held at the NAAC, Bangalore, on May 5, according to a press release issued by the college here on Saturday.

An NAAC peer team, led by former Vice-Chancellor of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University B. Hanumaiah, had visited the college to assess its performance on various criteria, including curricular aspects, teaching, learning and evaluation, research, consultancy and extension, infrastructure and learning resources, student support and progression, governance and leadership, innovation and best practices, the release added.
