SALEM: The Montfort Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School in Yercaud achieved 100 per cent pass in the Anglo Indian examinations for which the results were released by the authorities on Saturday.


A total of 107 students appeared for the examinations that were conducted and all of them emerged successful and came out with flying colours.

Ahamed Ashiq secured the first rank in the school with 467 marks, while Bharath Arun scored 462 marks to get the second rank. Mokshanand secured 461 marks to get the third rank.

Five students secured scored centum in mathematics, two students in history and two students in science subjects.

School Principal K.J. George congratulated the students.

The Montfort Community School also recorded 100 percent pass in the Class X examinations.

A total of 21 students appeared for the examinations.

First rank

Padmapriya secured the first rank with 423 marks. Ambika came second with 412 marks and Bhakiyaraj secured the third place with 392 marks.

The Golden Gates Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Salem, also registered 100 percent pass in the Matriculation examination.

V.P. Lakshmi secured 480 marks to get the school first rank.

A total of 13 students scored centum in Mathematics and two in science subjects.

V. Shruthi and Sujay scored 99 marks each in the French language to secure the State first rank in the subject.
