TAMBARAM: Candidates belonging to different parties and contesting in the suburbs have been catching the voters at the crack of dawn.
K. Somu of the MDMK and candidate from Tambaram came to the East Tambaram Railway Ground around 6 a.m. and talked to women, men and senior citizens on their morning stroll and youth sweating it out after a rigorous round of exercise.
Assisted by his partymen and members of other parties in the coalition, the MDMK candidate spent more than an hour on the sprawling Railway Ground.
Candidates of other parties too have been visiting the walking and jogging tracks in different parts of their constituencies to meet the voters early. They say it is a good time to meet with their voters, who are more relaxed in the early part of the day.
