DINDIGUL: The Chief Judicial Magistrate Court here on Thursday dismissed an accumulation of wealth case filed against the Minister for Law and Revenue, I. Periasamy.

The prosecution said incriminate documents were seized from his house during a raid and a case was registered in 1996. The Minister received the charge sheet and filed a petition.

Chief Judicial Magistrate S. Karpoorasundaram dismissed the case citing "no sufficient evidence to prosecute the case further." The Minister's friend Jeganathan and relative Nagarajan were released from the case.
