The Hosur Small and Tiny Industries Association (HOSTIA) has urged the Government to supply uninterrupted power through the group captive scheme.

In connection with this, the office-bearers of the association headed by its president K. Ramalingam submitted a memorandum to the State Minister for Rural Industries P. Mohan here on Saturday.

They met the Minister at the Sericulture Exhibition and explained the difficulties they face due to the power cut.

In its petition, HOSTIA has urged the Government to provide uninterrupted power supply through group captive power scheme. They also sought power supply to industrial estates in Hosur through dedicated feeders.

The association also urged the Government to allot land at the Bolupalli SIDCO industrial estate at a price fixed during the time of allotment. It also requested the Minister to hand over the sale deeds to allottees.
