Prince of Arcot’s appeal to agencies
The Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, on Thursday said investigating agencies should stop targeting a particular community while probing terrorist acts.
In a statement here, Mr. Ali said he endorsed the views of the Press Council of India Chairman Markandey Katju cautioning the authorities against targeting Muslims in connection with bomb blasts. His views were reported in national dailies.
Referring to recent incidents, the Prince of Arcot hoped investigation agencies would conduct an impartial probe without any pre-conceived notion and bring to book the real culprits, irrespective of which community they belonged to. — Special Correspondent
