NAMAKKAL: The body of a youth who was reportedly killed in London, was brought to Mohanur in Namakkal district on Wednesday.

Sources said that Saravanakumar, a resident of Mohanur, left for London to pursue his higher education.

He was working in a fuel station, when a group of unidentified persons reportedly attacked him in October.

He sustained serious injuries and was admitted to a hospital where he succumbed to wounds.

Following an appeal made by the parents and relatives of the youth, the World Tamil Organisation had made arrangements and flown the body from London to Coimbatore.

Later, the body was brought to Mohanur in an ambulance for the conduct of final rites.
