Nagercoil: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) plans to stage demonstration at four places to urge the Government to find out an early solution to their eight-point charter of demands. Speaking here, its State president L. Ganesan said that demonstrations would be staged in Thanjavur on September 29, in Rameswaram on October 6, in Chennai on 8th and at Salem on 9th. The attack against the Indian fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy was continuing and both governments failed to ensure the welfare of Indian fishermen. The BJP would continue to mount pressure on the Central government to implement the river inter-linking project.
