MADURAI: A three-day awareness programme on food safety and standards/ HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is being organised in Madurai from 26 {+t} {+h} by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute, Chennai.

The course would be intensive and have combined lectures and discussion on food safety and standards in order to provide participants with an in-depth understanding on the principles of HACCP and ISO 22000.

Quality assurance supervisors, managers and technicians from food industry, hotel industry, food laboratories, regulatory agencies, personnel advisors, consultants and researchers in food safety, university professors and students can take part in this programme, a press release said.
