ERODE: Nominations have been invited for the National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement to give recognition to children with exceptional abilities and who have achieved outstanding status in various fields including academics, arts, culture and sports for 2010. Children between the age of 4 to 15 are eligible for the award.


One gold medal and 35 silver medals will be given annually. The award for the child with exceptional achievement carries a gold medal, Rs. 20,000, and a citation. A silver medal, Rs. 10,000 and a citation will be given to 35 children across the nation. Children with exemplary talents in different fields have been asked to apply with supporting photographs, certificates and other credentials.
