COIMBATORE: The Tamil Nadu Association for Micro and Cottage Entrepreneurs has appealed to the State Government to constitute a committee for micro and cottage units in the State.

Association president J. James has said in a release that the committee should have members from the industry too. There was a delay in formation of industrial estates for micro units here though the government announced the proposal in the 2009 budget.

It should expedite the process to establish industrial estates for about 25,000 micro and cottage units here.

The government should take steps to increase power generation in the State.
