: As many as 3,780 candidates, including 3, 255 men and 525, women are expected to attend selection procedures for Tamil Nadu Uniform Services Recruitment Board scheduled from August 21 to 24 at the District Stadium here.
The selection procedure would be on for Grade – II Police Constables, Jail Warders and Firemen, Superintendent of Police, J. Rajendran, said in a statement on Monday. Call letters were forwarded to all the applicants to compete in the procedures, which would commence from 6 a.m. through the schedule. Selection procedures to the recruitment drive include physical measurement test, certificate verification, height and chest, 1, 500 meter running for men, 400 m for women, physical endurance test, rope climbing, high jump and long jump.
Super Check Officer, Rajesh Das, Inspector General of Police, South Zone, Chairman of Sub Committee, Sandeep Mittal, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Armed Police, Chennai, would monitor proceedings.
