CHENNAI: Commercial clerks affiliated to the Southern Railway Mazdoor Union on Monday staged a demonstration in front of the Guindy Railway Station booking office demanding creation of 315 additional posts of commercial clerks. The employees said due to non-filling of vacancies many booking counters in major railway stations could not operated causing inordinate delay in issuing tickets to the passengers. C.A.Rajasridhar, president of the union, led the demonstration.
