Officials asked to improve cleanliness

Mayor A.Jaya has instructed corporation officials to improve cleanliness at the Puthur fish market. Ms.Jaya, who inspected the market along with V.P.Dhandapani, Corporation Commissioner, appealed to the shop keepers to ensure that they confined to the space allotted to them and carry on their trade without causing hindrance to movement of people. She directed the officials to remove garbage regularly. Deputy Mayor M.Asick Meera and city engineer S.Raja Mohamed were present.
