Varushabishekam

Sixth year Varushabishekam of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba temple here was celebrated on Saturday. Vigneswara puja, punyaga vasanam, kumba puja and sarva devada moola mantra homams were performed in the temple at Melaveli in the morning. This was followed by maha poornahuthi. Prasadam was distributed. Religious discourse by Desa Mangayarkarasi on ‘Guruvarulum and Thiruvarulum' was held in the evening. Portrait of Shirdi Sai Baba was taken in a procession at night. Hundreds witnessed the abishekam and aarthi.
