Agriculture Minister S. Damodaran gave away mixers, electric fans, and grinders to over 1,000 persons at two functions on Sunday. A press release here said that he gave away the freebies to 562 persons in Rasakkapalayam village in Pollachi North Panchayat Union and to 513 persons in Periyakalanthai village in Kinathukadavu Panchayat Union.
The distribution of the freebies was the highlight of her achivements though there were very many schemes, he said.
