Udhagamandalam: The advantages of adopting the `Live and Let Live' policy were stressed by speakers at a function organised under the aegis of the Sri Abu Babaji Religious and Festival Mission Trust here on Saturday to distribute prizes to those who had excelled in a `Christmas 2005-Crib Competition' held recently.

Among those who spoke were the Bishop in-charge of the Diocese of Ootacamund Anthonysamy, the Assistant General Manager, State Bank of India, R. Ramanujam, the former president, Nilgiri Hotels and Restaurants Association, Umesh Nahar, and the Managing Trustee of the Trust, Ramu Baba.

A highlight of the function was a decorated crib.

The following were the winners in different categories: Churches: St. Antony's Church, Butfire; St. Jude's Church, Elkhill; St. Mary's Church, Mary's Hill; Convents and Institutions: Hotel Nahar, Ooty; St. Frances De Sales Convent, Finger Post; Sharudaya Adoration Convent, Bandishola; Individuals: Selvi Nimmi, Kandhal, A. Babu, Ooty and M. Aruldass, Butfire.
