KRISHNAGIRI: As many as 14,973 students, 7,625 boys and 7,348 girls, will appear for the Plus Two examinations in 28 centres in Krishnagiri revenue district on March 2.

Of the total centres, 17 are in Krishnagiri education district and 11 in Hosur education district.

Eleven scribes have been allowed to write examinations for the physically challenged and visually challenged students in the district, Chief Education Officer M. Baskaran told The Hindu. He said that 1,860 private candidates would also write examinations in four centres in the district.

Two flying squads had been appointed under the District Education Officers of the Krishnagiri and Hosur education districts.

A monitoring committee had been formed under the chairmanship of Collector V.K. Shanmugam to oversee the Plus Two and SSLC examinations.
