Three drowned in lakeThree people, including a boy and a woman, drowned in a lake at Perumbakkam near Tambaram on Saturday night. Vijayan, 12, went to the lake for a swim when he was caught in the waters. Krishnaveni, 28, jumped in, but she too was trapped in the slush. A passer-by, Mari 45, tried to save both of them. But all of them were drowned.
