Krishnagiri: Applications are invited from candidates belonging to Adi-dravidar and denotified communities for direct admission to multi-skilled trade courses in Government and private ITIs in Krishnagiri district.

According to a Collectorate release, candidates with a pass in 10th Standard and in the age group of 18 to 35 years will be eligible for admission.


The training programme is sponsored by the Tamil Nadu Adi-dravidar and Housing Development Corporation (TAHDCO).

A stipend of Rs. 400 a month will be given to the candidates. The eligibility criteria will be a pass in SSLC for electrician, motor mechanic, CNC machine operator and computer animation and graphics. For welder the eligibility will be a pass in 8th Standard.


All eligible candidates seeking admission to the above courses should attend an interview on August 19 with original copies of their mark lists, community certificate, transfer certificate and family card at the office of the District Manager, TAHDCO.

The annual income of parents seeking admission for their wards should not exceed Rs. 18,460 for candidates in rural areas and Rs. 28, 536 for those in urban areas, the release adds.
