TIRUCHI: The driver of a mini autorickshaw was killed in a road accident at Iniyanallur near Vathalai in the district on Sunday.
The mini autorickshaw was coming to Tiruchi from Salem when a lorry bound for Musiri collided head-on with the vehicle. The mini autorickshaw driver Samsudeen (29) died on the way to hospital, the police said.
The body of a man, aged around 40 years, was found on the railway track between Tiruchi and Poongudi railway stations on Monday. The identity of the deceased is yet to be established.
