CHENNAI: About 248 farming families in 20 settlements in the Kolli Hills are expected to benefit from an organic produce procurement contract. The contract, effective for three years from April this year, was signed between member Self-Help Groups (SHG) of the Kolli Hills Agro Biodiversity Conservers Federation (KHABCoFED) and the Chennai-based private firm LiNFoodZ, last month.

A release issued by the M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) stated.
