CHENNAI: Anitha R. Radhakrishnan, expelled All-India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam MLA, called on Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president and Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi on Thursday evening.

According to a DMK release, Mr. Radhakrishnan would quit the MLA post and submit his resignation letter to Speaker R. Avudaiappan on Friday. Subsequently, he would join the DMK formally along with his supporters. Deputy Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and Higher Education Minister K. Ponmudy were among those present. — Special Correspondent
